Materials
Materials
Our TOMEKOs are made from recycled PLA (rPLA - Recycled Polylactic Acid), giving existing material a new life.
PLA is a bio-based plastic that can be made from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugarcane rather than fossil-based raw materials.
Certain PLA materials may be compostable under controlled industrial conditions. However, this doesn't mean that every PLA product is compostable or will break down in nature.
That's why we focus on what matters most: reusing instead of throwing away. By using recycled PLA, we give existing material another purpose instead of relying entirely on new materials.

Care Instructions
If your TOMEKO gets a little dirty, simply clean it with a soft, damp cloth. A little mild soap can help if needed.
Please keep your TOMEKO away from excessive heat – such as radiators, hot cars or prolonged direct sunlight.
Your TOMEKO should never go in the dishwasher or into food or garden compost.
More than anything, it's made to stay, be used again and accompany as many meaningful moments as possible.
